Looking for: E-Bike & E-Rickshaw Technician – The Backbone of Our Fleet!
Hello mechanics, bicycle technicians, and E-bike nerds in Berlin,
We are Berlin Excursions & Berlin Rickshaw. We operate a unique “multi-mobility” concept for our tours: families ride together – the older guests in the 3-wheel E-rickshaw and the younger ones on E-bikes and e-scooters.
Our philosophy is “Guides for Guides.” We share the work and we share the success. But: without working brakes, full batteries, and well-lubricated chains, nothing moves here. That’s why we are looking for you as our technical backbone!

What you do:
You are responsible for the maintenance, care, and repair of our fleet (E-rickshaws, E-bikes, E-scooters). From brakes and tire changes to battery management and troubleshooting of electric motors. -
How you work:
You make sure our vehicles are safe and ready to operate at Rosenthaler Platz before the tours start (approximately 10:30 am & 2:00 pm). -
Flexibility:
Whether mini-job, part-time, or freelancer invoice work – we find a model that fits you.

No fancy CVs:
It doesn’t matter whether you have a master craftsman’s certificate or are a passionate bicycle nerd who learned everything yourself. What matters is that you know what you are doing. Reliability and practical craftsmanship count: spokes, gearing, brakes, and general bicycle mechanics. -
Problem solver:
Sometimes a rickshaw must get back on the street quickly. You need an operational, solution-oriented, hands-on mentality. -
Part of the crew:
Here you are not just the person doing technical work in the background. You are an equal member of our “shared economy” team.

The Role: Guiding & Management
This position combines operational management of your tour together with an English-speaking guide and active guiding. This is where you come in:
🚲 Active Guiding (Mini-job, Part-time or Full-time possible)

Daily two public combo-vehicle tours (E-Rickshaws & E-Bikes)
⏰ 10:00–13:30
⏰ 14:00–17:30 -
Minimum availability: 5 days per week, including 2 weekends per month

At least one of these tours per day (approx. 4 hours of active guiding)

You lead the tour, drive the rickshaw, and take responsibility for the overall experience.

You can drive an E-rickshaw – or are ready to learn immediately.

On our combo tours, we place the “less young” guests in the rickshaw and the “younger” ones on E-bikes/scooters.
Product Management & Operational Mindset (Back Office)

Review management: You take responsibility for the Combo Vehicle Tour product, including review monitoring and quality optimization.

Operational thinking and continuous improvement of our processes.
Who Fits Our Vibe?

Language: Native-level German is strongly preferred to perfectly serve the mindset of our German guests. English is important as a second language. Additional languages such as Spanish, French, or Russian are a plus.

Qualification: A DIN EN 15665 certification is welcome, as it shows respect for the craft.
However, if you are a passionate local guide with experience, we are absolutely open to you. -
Personality: Reliable, punctual, flexible – also for last-minute assignments.
Product Manager Spanish Tours
The Role: Guiding & Management – Looking for a Spanish-Speaking Guide
This position combines operational tour management with active guiding for Spanish-speaking guests. This is where you come in:

Who Are We Looking For?

Language: Native or near-native Spanish is strongly preferred to perfectly serve our Spanish-speaking guests. English is required. German is a plus. Additional languages such as German, French, or Russian are welcome.
