A Multicultural Kreuzberg Food, Wine, and German Beer Tasting, Walking & Local Life Experience

This is a genuinely multicultural Berlin experience.

Kreuzberg has been shaped by people from many different countries, cultures, languages and traditions. Our experience celebrates this diversity through food, conversation, walking and shared time around the table.

You may meet travellers from different parts of the world, hear different languages, discover different food traditions and share stories with people you might never otherwise meet.

The table becomes a meeting place between cultures.

DIFFERENT PEOPLE. DIFFERENT STORIES. ONE TABLE.

Our food can reflect the multicultural character of Kreuzberg, with influences from German, Turkish, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and international cuisine.

A MULTICULTURAL JOURNEY

The experience is not simply about eating.

During the three approximately 20-minute walks, your local hosts introduce aspects of Kreuzberg's history, migration, neighbourhood culture and contemporary life.

You discover how different communities have contributed to the character of the neighbourhood.

You hear stories.

You ask questions.

You share your own experiences.

You may discover that the person sitting next to you grew up on the other side of the world.

That is part of the experience.

THE TABLE AS A MEETING PLACE

Food has always been one of the easiest ways for people to meet.

You do not need to speak the same language perfectly to share a meal.

Someone passes the bread.

Someone offers a salad.

Someone explains a dish.

Someone tells a story about their hometown.

A conversation begins.

This is the spirit of the Görlitzer Park Grill Experience.

Not a performance.

Not a staged cultural show.

A real social experience built around people, food and curiosity.

OUR SHARED RULES

We want people from different backgrounds to feel safe and welcome.

Our group dining area is:

NO SMOKING

NO DRUGS

NO INTOXICATED OR DRUNK GUESTS

NO HARASSMENT

NO DISCRIMINATION

NO AGGRESSIVE OR DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR

The optional beer and wine tasting is a moderate tasting experience, not an unlimited drinking session.

We ask everyone to respect the people around them.

THE KREUZBERG IDEA

Perhaps the best way to understand Kreuzberg is not through a museum display.

It is through people.

People who arrived from somewhere else.

People who were born here.

People who brought recipes from their grandparents.

People who created new traditions.

People who speak several languages.

People with different histories who now share the same streets.

Our experience celebrates that mixture.

GERMAN FOOD.

TURKISH INFLUENCES.

MEDITERRANEAN FLAVORS.

MIDDLE EASTERN TRADITIONS.

INTERNATIONAL IDEAS.

BERLIN ATTITUDE.

ONE SHARED TABLE.

THE PROMISE

You may arrive as strangers.

You may leave knowing new people.

You may discover a new dish.

You may hear a story you never expected.

You may see Kreuzberg differently.

And perhaps that is what a multicultural experience should be:

Not simply learning about other cultures,

but sitting together,

sharing food,

listening to each other,

and discovering how much people can have in common.

GÖRLITZER PARK GRILL EXPERIENCE

Walk together.

Eat together.

Discover Kreuzberg.

Meet the world around one table.
